They actually upgraded us for free to the resort hotel next door as they own both.
So the resort hotel has a beautiful lobby and outside surroundings. A very good buffet dinner and breakfast.

Everything at this resort was stunning, however the people made this hotel to stand out even more. The location is great, for the whole duration of our stay we had the impression that we are in a tropical vacation. I highly recommend any of the villas. Al Yamm is perfect for sunshine and beach lovers and Al Sahel perfect for those who want to enjoy the wildlife in their own backyard surrounded by trees. The pricing of F&B is surprisingly good as well. Would 100% recommend any of the 3 resorts from the island.

Courtesy and service mindfulness of the staff (who has by far more liberty to accommodate and interact with guest than any other place we have been!), the garden and (private) beach, and the quality of the room, chalets and villa's are excellent. If you like rest, beach (or swimming pool) and good food, this is the place to be!

Location is perfect to get away from the busy city life. There are two places that you can stay at, Danat Jabel Al Dhanah and Dhafra Beach hotel. There is nothing more going on in the area other to stay at one of the hotels and relax at the beach.

The hotel is located at a very serene place next to the beach with a wonderful and relaxing view. Had a good breakfast and other facilities were good as well (pool, bar, beach etc.) Activities for fun loving kids (kayaking) at the beachside. Altogether, it was a great stay.

Beautiful small hotel for a relaxing family holiday by the sea with nice well maintained beach, pool and garden, friendly staff, early check in and late check out.
What didn't I like? A very shallow empty sea, although for some it will be good; a small variety of food in the restaurant, it cannot be said that it is bad, but the hotel positions itself at 5 stars, so expectations were high.
Unexpected Service and cleaned rooms.
I wanted to go back to Saudi Arabia and take rest in this place.
I just booked the hotel to sleep. However it was surprisingly nice quiet place on the beach.
I will make it an essential to stay here every time traveling by car from Saudi to UAE
everything there is jus perfect, rooms, location, cleanliness & Staff they will not wait until you ask fo something they will do it even before you ask 😍😍

The hotel was a short 2 hour drive from Abu Dhabi and we wanted something different. Rooms were clean and spacious. As we were full board, we were able to take advantage of the Christmas eve buffet which was really good. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
The rooms were spacious and the new pool was fantastic. We could use the gym and squash court at the big hotel. Deepika in the restaurant was especially kind and helpful.
Wonderful room view, excellent beach, and great breakfast, together with always polite and friendly personnel , upgrading the experience from a "hotel" to "home".
