They actually upgraded us for free to the resort hotel next door as they own both.
So the resort hotel has a beautiful lobby and outside surroundings. A very good buffet dinner and breakfast.

The entire experience started the moment we entered the Resort, the check in was smooth and they upgraded my stay to presidential suite. Once we entered the room it was wow its huge. The bedroom was so spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. the wash room was again huge and the jacuzzi tub was amazing. Please find the factors that make this resort special below.

Everything at this resort was stunning, however the people made this hotel to stand out even more. The location is great, for the whole duration of our stay we had the impression that we are in a tropical vacation. I highly recommend any of the villas. Al Yamm is perfect for sunshine and beach lovers and Al Sahel perfect for those who want to enjoy the wildlife in their own backyard surrounded by trees. The pricing of F&B is surprisingly good as well. Would 100% recommend any of the 3 resorts from the island.

Courtesy and service mindfulness of the staff (who has by far more liberty to accommodate and interact with guest than any other place we have been!), the garden and (private) beach, and the quality of the room, chalets and villa's are excellent. If you like rest, beach (or swimming pool) and good food, this is the place to be!

Location is perfect to get away from the busy city life. There are two places that you can stay at, Danat Jabel Al Dhanah and Dhafra Beach hotel. There is nothing more going on in the area other to stay at one of the hotels and relax at the beach.

The hotel is located at a very serene place next to the beach with a wonderful and relaxing view. Had a good breakfast and other facilities were good as well (pool, bar, beach etc.) Activities for fun loving kids (kayaking) at the beachside. Altogether, it was a great stay.

Beautiful small hotel for a relaxing family holiday by the sea with nice well maintained beach, pool and garden, friendly staff, early check in and late check out.
What didn't I like? A very shallow empty sea, although for some it will be good; a small variety of food in the restaurant, it cannot be said that it is bad, but the hotel positions itself at 5 stars, so expectations were high.
I stayed in junior suite .it was clean and all items were well maintained .it is wonderful place to stay
check in was fast and every member of staff from executive to helper was helpful and kind

location is ideal for visitors from Saudi Arabia
despite beach and breakfast issue -we still enjoyed our stay as it served the purpose of short stay and dealing of staff
This is definitely one of the best hotels I have been. The staff and their support was the best. They have a great temperature controlled pool and a huge dining area. My only regret is that i have not opted for All Inclusive as I had to pay additonal amount for the dinner and there are no other restaurants nearby. But, there is always a next time. I am definetely going to visit this place again.

The staff were lovely especially thank you to the receptionist twian (sorry I can’t spell her name, I think she is Chinese??) she was amazing and made my mothers birthday so special. We have stayed many times and will return again. Great hotel great staff gorgeous food!!!
The hotel is old but refurbished and having professional staff showing hospitality and kindness all the time. It needs renewal for some of assets but in overall it is a good a nice place to stay in for business and long stay tour.

Everything was amazing. The staff were exceptional especially the lovely bartender at the pool bar who later was alao at the hotel bar. He deserves a raise.
