Staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was generous - appreciated them starting a bit earlier than scheduled when we had to catch a flight.

Built in 1856, this hotel is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and is located in Philadelphia's Historic District, only 2 blocks from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. It offers a hot breakfast, free afternoon tea and snacks, and free Wi-Fi. Really enjoyed my short stay, would have loved longer. The facilities are very clean , comfortable, and relatively newly renovated but in a historical building. Staff is friendly and accommodating. A decent breakfast is included in a nice room. The bed is comfortable with big fluffy pillows and there is another lounge chair and desk in the room. Would definitely stay again!
