It was nice to receive a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel offers a beautiful view of Mount Tampa. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town, yet on a quiet street. The room and bathroom are spacious. They provide a kettle and tea in the room. The included breakfast is basic but decent. On New Year's Eve, the hotel gifted a small bottle of sparkling wine.

Offering a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi access, the elegant Grand Boutique Hotel is located in the centre of Bucharest, within a 5-minute walk from the University Square and the Bucharest National Theater TNB. This is an amazing old-style hotel with unique rooms, old furniture, old fireplaces, friendly staff members and short walking distance to an excellent restaurant (recommended by the hotel). If you want to experience living in a few centuries back kind of atmosphere, definitely recommend it. No parking on premises, but was able to find parking outside of the hotel, not sure if it will be as easy in peak / business hours).
