The hosts were incredibly helpful, always smiling and made us feel like home. They bought coca leaves for us because we had mountain sickness and gave us an entire bag for free. They also allowed us to leave our bags on the last day until the evening so that we could enjoy our tour.
We felt very blessed to be welcomed in the inn and we would definitely come back.

The staff were great. My daughter got sick and they had a doctor come in 20 mins. Resturant was wo derful. Breakfast amazing. Best spot in Puno with balcony looking over the plaza. Heating was great and good hot water

This was such a charming boutique hotel, so conveniently located. Service was exceptional! I wish I could have spent more time there, but we had plans elsewhere. Recommend without hesitation!
The Host bent over backwards for everyone!! The place was small but only a few beds so lots of space..it was a good design and modern...
The host was lovely, sorted out transport from the bus station all the way there and back. Looked after us, we didn't need to do anything, food sorted, activities and tours sorted. Welcomed us into the community, it was a privilege to be there. The views from our room and our outside terrace with bed was stunning! It was also nice to eat dinner with the other guests and get to know them, there was a lovely group there. Accommodated vegetarian diet with variety for the couple of days we were there. Kept us very warm throughout our stay!
Teodora was really lovely and made sure that we felt at home, she is also an excellent cook! The place itself is clean, has a stunning view and is located in a really quiet area.
We had a fantastic stay on Uros. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had gorgeous views. Manuel and his family looked after us very well, from picking us up from the harbour to cooking a very tasty dinner in the evening. A highlight was having a hearty breakfast served on our sunny balcony with a stunning view of the lake. A very special place to sit back and relax.
Colonial design, cosy room, nice view from the restaurant, very helpful and pleasant staff. Hot shower. Staff let me keep my luggage there even one day after I checked out as I went on an overnight tour and didn’t want to bring it with me. Very central, 1 minute walk from the main square.
Absolutely stunning view of the lake from the room and deck with day bed to relax. Host family was incredible, made sure we were warm and well fed :) Boat trip to and from the islands was gorgeous. Very authentic experience!
Staying with Mario & Juliana was truly an amazing experience. They are such lovely people, so humble, kind and generous. The island is gorgeous and Mario showed me several places and taught me about their local traditions. The food is great as well. All in all I highly recommend staying with them if you have a chance to visit Taquile. It's a much better option than the touristy Uros islands. This is an honest and real local experience. I loved it!
