All rooms have views towards the Aurlandsfjord or the surrounding mountains. Property location was immense, set in a magical snow valley, we went in December and the place was brilliant
Aurland
Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Guests can also enjoy free WiFi. Cosy cabin, helpful staff, and views to never forget.
Flåm
This hotel is 100 metres from Flåm Train Station and offers free WiFi and private parking. Rooms at Flåmsbrygga Hotel feature Norwegian pinewood panelling and tea/coffee facilities.
Each room has a private bathroom with a shower. Some rooms have a balcony offering views of the Aurland Fjord and the mountains.
The hotel is in an excellent location. The room is simply amazing, like a two-room apartment, with a balcony. Wonderful view from the balcony to the fjord and snow-capped mountains.
Literally 2 minutes walk to the pier with a boat, on which we traveled through the fjords and to the railway station, where we took the train back to Oslo.
The town of Flam itself is a delightful place where you want to return again. Great view of the grra and the fjord.
The breakfast was excellent too. The overall experience of this trip is just great.
Gudvangen
Situated in western Norway’s Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this waterfront hotel offers easy access to ferry boat fjord tours. Some rooms have skylights with views up to Kjelsfossen Waterfall. The location is superb also food is nice.
Stryn
Housed in a 19th-century building by Stryn Bay, this hotel offers individually decorated rooms with private balconies and free WiFi access. Stryn centre is a short walk away.

Høyheimsvik
Overlooking the Luster Fjord and Feigum Waterfall, this waterfront inn is 30 minutes’ drive from Sogndal. It provides free WiFi and a surrounding garden with outdoor seating and a playground.
All rooms at Nes Gard have a private bathroom and their own individual décor. Some feature fjord views, along with a private balcony or terrace.
Location, location, location! Knowledgeable and very nice staff. Room was comfortable with amazing view!
Balestrand
This family-run hotel is in Balestrand, by the Sogne Fjord. It has a large garden, a private beach and panoramic fjord views. Each quiet guest room includes a private bathroom.
The reception includes a bar and a nice lounge area. The reception area also offers a pool table and board games available free of use for all the guests. On occasions there will be concerts, stand-up, yoga, bingo and quiz-nights.
Very good value for money, wonderful view, very cool and friendly people!

Evrything!! Feel homey, host and staff are friendly and warmth~ They gave us recommendation, shared some jokes, made us feel like in our home. Amenities were eloquent! Has the best view of Fjords. Interior design was totally wonderful.
We were most cordially welcomed by our host Mara and she gave us a little tour where to find everything, even though it was already very late. The interior design of our room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the view in the morning was breathtaking. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen which everybody can use, including the fridge, where you can put your food which needs cooling.
Beautifully interior designed and well equipped chalet in quiet (in late August) area with far reaching views. We were in the first floor chalet and the X Box and the sauna were a bonus. Good base for exploring the surrounding area for a couple of days. There are no amenities nearby, which wasn’t a problem for us but may not suit others. There is a bike trail from the ski centre but unfortunately nowhere to hire bikes in late August - imagine it is a much active area earlier in the Summer.

Good location Apartments are small and fairly basic in design but in a good location - beautiful views and less than 15 minute walk to all attractions. Apartments upstairs do not have access to a private outside area but there are picnic tables outside for general use. Only one supermarket in Flam so go early as shelves nearly empty by the time we got there in the evening. Flam definitely worth a visit as stunning scenery.
The apartment is very well-designed and furnished with high-quality equipments. The kitchen has everything we need to cook a family meal. One could tell that the host put a lot of thoughts into this apartment. He is very helpful and professional. Highly recommend to anyone who would like to visit the fjords as the apartment is also well located between beautiful towns. We had lovely memories here
What a lucky find! This 2-storey townhouse (19b, located two floors up from street level), is ENORMOUS, beautiful and affordable. Fresh, modern and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. Short walk to ferry. Gorgeous view. Little supermarket (Coop) right under the building! Lovely, calm area.
