Featuring impressive ocean views and an outdoor swimming pool, Villa Atulya at Ocean's edge is set at the seafront in South Mirissa. The building is an exclusive villa and features colourful rooms with antique furnishings and free Wi-Fi. It was like a fairytale to stay at this hotel. The rooms are lovely, the garden is lovely, the staff is lovely, the food was great, we could see the turtles from the garden. A little further down the beach it was easy to get into the ocean and swim with the turtles. Truly an amazing place to stay.
Mirissa Beach, Mirissa
Situated 1 km from whale watching at Mirissa Lagoon, Morning Star Guest House offers a spacious common living area with plush sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a seaview balcony. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is provided. Behind the gate by the street opens a quiet fantastic environment with many plants and works of art. The balcony outside the room is an oasis where you can see monkeys and colorful birds in the garden next door. The room is spotless and the bathroom has a luxurious shower. The bed is comfortable and has a nice mosquito net around it. The pool area has many sunbeds, and umbrellas if you want them. The staff and the manager Anura do everything to make the guests comfortable. The breakfast was good and fresh. Right across the street there is a short path to the beach where you can swim with turtles.
Mirissa
Located in Mirissa South, Sri Sharavi Beach Villas & Spa - with 43 metre saltwater infinity pool offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. This beachfront accommodation features free WiFi. The property is 3.1 km from Whale Watching Mirissa. Check in was seamless and quick! Love the concept of 4 villas with 3 rooms in each. This is a great boutique stay for couples and families. Staff knew every visitor and provided great recommendations, for activities and food, even though the breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel was the best food. Special shout out to Kenny at the front of desk; no request was too big for him. Located a short tuk tuk ride from mirissa beach and Welegama ( surfing) - we will be returning to this hotel on our next trip to Sri Lanka. 5 start hotel, 5 star service, 5 start food ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Polhena Beach, Matara
Offering a private beach and beach side restaurant, Beach Inns Holiday Resort is located in Matara. It features various of activities including diving, fishing, cycling and turtle watching from the on-site terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available in public area. The room, view, pool, restaurant and staff was amazing. Well situated in the quiet area with direct access to the nice semi private beach. Our kids loved the whole place.

Everything was perfect.
The location is amazing, really really close to the beach, in the nature, with the sounds of the birds, the peacooks...
The swimmingpool and the chill area are perfect.
The breakfast is tasty, served in a beautiful room by smily staff.
The rooms and the terraces are just perfect.
The owner and all the staff are so friendly and smily, it was a real relaxing time in this hotel.
Special mention to the beautiful spa and his great staff, really carrefully, smily and with magics hands.
I will come again for sure

Lovely boutique hotel with cozy rooms and amazing view from the balcony. The vie is toward the parrot rock and coconut heel. The beach is great for surfing, big waves and the turtle point few minutes away. The breakfast was vegan and yammy. Very nice sandy area for kids to play just in front of the restaurant/reception.
We loved the property. It is a new villa and the rooms were well equipped, comfortable, clean. Luxury boutique hotel. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable especially Roshan and the boys Kazan, rasika and abhithea were very sweet and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and pool snacks good. We released baby turtles from a tiny farm run by the government ecological area to save the eggs from predators. The hotel also called us when the turtles came to lay their eggs.
This small 3 bedroom guesthouse is set on a quiet beach not far from busy Hiriketiya and Dickwella. Jeremy has organized us scooters and gave us lots of tips for the area. Although we loved to spend our days mostly on the beach right in front of the house. July and Jeremy are lovely hosts, super relaxed and so is the whole staff. Also Julie has a beautiful shop called Gambette upstairs where she carefully designs her own fashion label with a French twist.
Very special little boutique hotel. Friendly, personal staff who knew all guests by name. Lovely relax area, clean and comfy rooms. Loved the fish bbq evening. A la carte breakfast was great.
This is a charming boutique hotel. I admire their clever design that maximizes space, incorporating gardens and a rooftop pool. The food was exceptional, and overall, the staff was very friendly. It was a truly wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to everyone!
Stunning boutique hotel on a pristine section of beach. The nicest beach in the area. Rooms are beautiful, just steps from the beach. Staff are lovely and the breakfast is great
This architecturally designed boutique hotel was one of the best places we stayed in our 2.5 weeks in Sri Lanka. The level of service at three gables was the best we encountered in the country, and dinu the manager, provided us with the best food we ate the entire trip. The Sri Lankan breakfast was incredible, as was the beautiful dinners he set up for us. I honestly couldn’t fault the property or the staff at all. If you are staying in mirissa, definitely book three gables - you won’t regret it!
Perfect spot to unwind after taking in the sights of Mirissa. Lovely property to relax and rejuvenate, comfy rooms and most importantly, clean and hygienic! The interior design and layout are very attractive and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Just a hop skip and a jump from Petti petti Mirissa, which is another stunning property run by the same management, so expect very high standards all around! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Mirissa, a 10/10 😁 We will be back!
The location was perfect, up in the trees but just a short walk from Mirissa beach. The design of the decor was really stylish, huge rooms and beds, amazing breakfast. the staff were lovely
