Warm welcome from the staff, always helpful and looking at all details. It deserves a longer stay to enjoy the surrounding nature and the amazing jacuzzi. We’ve been in Feb 2023, there is nothing to worry about for tourism, a safe country and lovely people.

The building and communal area where you have your breakfast is an incredibly cool space. Lovely large terrace areas by both rooms and the communal area with great views of Kandy and the lake. We had a great afternoon by the pool area as well. Very friendly staff, super helpful. Would highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

The property is a 15-minute drive from the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya. Kandy railway and bus stations are about 1 km away, while The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is 40 km away. It is 800 metres away from Kandyan Cultural Centre and 5 km from the Tea Museum. The room was excellent. I didn't expect such a lovely room, but it caught my attention when I saw it in person. It was also very simple to go to Kandy town by just walking. and the staff was really pleasant and helpful in all of our needs. Breakfast was nothing extravagant, but it satisfied us. Overall, this was a good place to stay in Kandy.

Located in the heart of Kandy City, Villa 49 is 1 km from the famous Temple of Tooth. Its restaurant serves local and Western dishes. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. A cable TV is available in the lobby. Beautiful hosts and very large clean rooms. It was walking distance to the heart of all the attractions to. The breakfast was Devine and the price was cheap, especially due to the fact it felt like a five star hotel.
