Water dispensers to fill your bottle are a huge plus – there's way too much single-use plastic in Sri Lanka. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious and super clean. Oh, and did I mention the DOGS?

Specially Upalu especially helped us a lot. The owners of the property are also nice and kind people. Even If we contact them late at night, they help with the last-minute transfer. Also, some of the most beautiful things for us were squirrels and peacocks in the garden ☺️

At first impression the hotel seemed a little dated and run down, and we were surprised at the high rankinng on Booking. Over the next 24 hours our imression changed 100%. We were given an amazing suite, all the staff were very helpful and attentive and the food was excellent. By the time we left this was our favourite hotel of our trip and our initial misgivings forgotten. We couldn´t recommend it more
