Close to the centre of Wadi Musa, the Rocky Mountain Hotel is a small family run budget hotel which features free WiFi in the public areas, a rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the Petra Mountains. We loved the view from the terrace. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and helpful and very welcoming.

Interior design, spacious quality room with large tv, nice restaurant with plentiful breakfast buffet & optional evening buffet. Staff were attentive & good to talk with. Location is close to Petra entrance. Pool looked nice but didn’t use, along with the sauna & steam room.

Brand new hotel, only 3-5 minutes walk from Petra visitor centre, so perfect base for exploring Petra. Great design, attention to details , very comfortable room and bed, delicious welcome gift. Staff is very friendly. There is a small pool and jacuzzi area that is perfect for winding down after a long day. Breakfast buffet was very big and delicious with international/local foods. View from breakfast room is incredible.
Exceptional stay. Lovely stylish rooms. Delicious breakfast and dinner buffets. Beautiful rooftop terrace with views, relaxing hip atmosphere. Short distance to Petra Visitor centre. Very few hotels are as classy and modern as this one on our budget.
A testefully decorated, luxurious hotel located in the centre of Wadi Musa with extremely helpful staff and delicious buffet breakfast with a lovely view. The rooms have a comfortable bed and an overall well designed interior. Would stay again.
Very nice interior design with some arabic style. Comfortable bed with thick and thin pillows to chose. Good WiFi. Hotel provides transportation to/from Petra which was very convenient and flexible for our needs. Reception staff was very helpful.
Newly refurbished in a clean, modern style with a focus good design and technology. Gorgeous views from the rooftop restaurant. Nice touches like bathrobes and some yummy posh chocolates in the fridge. And, by the way, half the price of the big name five star hotel that is just doors away.
I spent a few weeks traveling through The Middle East, stayed in several hotels and hostels and Desert Moon was definitely the best and one of a kind. First of all the staff was excellent - super nice and helpful! The host took a real interest in making sure our stay was a perfect one! Great location, close to everything. Very nice and clean room, and a comfy lounge. I also liked the cool and original interior design. Overall - en awesome visit!
Management of the property designed very well. Modern, new, with stylish and quality furniture. Many complementary extra stuff, like mini bar with chocolate, individual pick up and drop off, daily cleaning, marvelous breakfast. I liked furniture and bed, really nice. Early check-in highly thankful and appreciated. Thank you very much
