The villa is further away from the harbour and centre, but it wasn't an issue for us. If anything, it was good to be further from the very touristy areas and enjoy food in the same restaurants locals eat at.

A 2-minute walk from Manarola’s rocky beaches, Hotel Marina Piccola features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi access. It is characterised by the stone walls contrasting with the modern furnishings. A modern little hotel with wonderful owners. Alfredo and Jessica were extremely welcoming and great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They have great advise about the area; when ,where and how to visit places. ( superb English too). The room was modern , comfortable and spotless with a view right onto the street. (Though peaceful at night) A great location to visit the other towns by trek or train. Breakfast was delicious with a great range of products , freshly cooked as you arrived.
