They were kind enough to store our luggage for an inconvenient amount of time after check-out. Very professional.

Thanks to the TA community , I had zeroed on in staying at Varenna and in particular at Hotel Olivedo. I am so happy I did that. Bellagio is not on the train route. Hotel olivedo is 4-5 minute walk from the rail station and right on the ferry terminal which is a huge plus in these locations.

The colourful rooms at Mamma Ciccia are decorated with simple, light furniture. Offering cable TV and air conditioning, they have private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. Very good location. The reception is amazing if you do not speak Italian and they are very kind and always here to give you help and tips to visit. They helped me for the ferry. The room is super clean with a kettle and tea and a mini fridge. The area is calm with everything you need. So much better than the business of bellagio or varenna. The locals are very nice. The hotel breakfast is great with all you need as a buffet. Also I had dinner at the café from the restaurant and the lasagna, the raviolis and the chianti wine was so good. I really loved the raviolis its the best I ever had. Will def come back. Grazie mille !
