The breakfast was fantastic. It was our first irish breakfast and it was delicious. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk to pubs, shopping and the Kilkenny castle. They also had great amenities, pool, hot tub, sauna, gym.

Xlll century tower. The breakfast was small but very tasty. Some options for vegetarians. I loved the table set up in the small dining room. Very sublime tableware. Lovely design of the main room. Very clean room and bedroom. Nice towels.
Very striking and tastefully designed lobby and public areas perfectly blending the old and the new. Delicious meal in the grill that had the ambiance of a trendy restaurant rather than a hotel dining room. Outstanding breakfast in a beautiful setting with a warm welcome and attentive service. The overall experience was one of relaxation and peace and was most enjoyable . The setting at Woodstock is magnificent. The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful gardens , woodlands and wonderful views. The property was modern and comfortable and yet had character and much thought went into the design and decor. A revisit to this glorious boutique hotel. The staff as ever are so welcoming. Throughout your stay. The room size is phenomenal and with it having a second door to the corridor you sleep in silence on the back of the hotel. The bed is also huge and so comfortable. Breakfast is simply gorgeous with high quality ingredients Great location and will definitely be back
Lovely boutique hotel
The cottages at Knockreagh are all brand new with gorgeous interior design and every comfort you could wish for. Brilliantly kitted out - the one we were in even had throws on the sofas, candles and tasteful Christmas decorations. It was super warm and cosy. This is probably the best self catering we’ve ever stayed in. Mike was super welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. A great location between Callan and Kilkenny but also on a working farm. It would be amazing in the summer too with the outdoor seating and BBQ. We loved it.
