Decorated in Mediterranean style, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the historic Veszprem Castle. It features a grill restaurant with an outdoor terrace. Meals include Hungarian and international cuisine. The property is in an easy to get to location with available parking. The reception staff were friendly and inviting, and the hotel overall was clean and taken care of. The on site restaurant had great service and even better food. Overall my experience at this hotel was phenomenal.

The breakfast provided a wide variety of selections that accomodated all types of dietary needs or restrictions. The evening dinner was also an impressive array of meals. I have a gluten free diet and there is a prominantly displayed message board detailing any dietary restrictions the prepared meals may have and each meal is described and the restrictions listed.

Venusz Hotel is situated in Siófok, only 150 metres from the beach at Lake Balaton and just a few minutes walk from the city centre. It offers free Wi-Fi in the public areas in the hotel.

All rooms provide a TV, refrigerator, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a balcony. We both enjoyed our breakfasts. The staff were very attentive. The chamber maids were also very helpful. The location is very central for the railway station, the bus station, the town, the museums, bicycle rental, the beach, the port and all eateries and entertainment.
