Hotel Grotta 2 stars

Naxos Chora

Grotta Hotel is situated on a beautiful hillside, overlooking Naxos Town, yet only a short walk from the beach.

Guests can enjoy a generous breakfast served in the sunny breakfast room, a drink at the sitting area and stunning views at the spacious veranda, which overlooks the sea. This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The service and the food were amazing. Connie on the desk is an asset to this hotel as was Costos in the restaurant. Graciella and n the bar at night was a ray of sunshine. The food second to none. We were spoilt beyond our expectations. The free transfer from the ferry was a bonus. Will definitely be back.

Iliada Suites

Naxos Chora

Only 150 metres from the rocky Grotta Beach and 800 metres from Agios Georgios Beach, the Cycladic-style Iliada Studios is a 3-minute walk from central Naxos Town. It offers self-catered accommodation with free Wi-Fi and balcony with panoramic Aegean Sea views. Everything! Wow - fantastic property, wonderful staff, fabulous location. Although we stayed in a ‘standard’ room, it was more like an ‘exceptional’ room with comfy bed and pillows, gorgeous decor, great shower and very practical layout. Breakfast was great and varied every day too - yum! Maria at reception was super friendly and helpful and made our stay that much more memorable. Thanks Iliada Suites team - we hope to be back someday! Can’t recommend this boutique hotel highly enough if you’re coming to Naxos.

Kalergis Studios

Agios Georgios Beach, Naxos Chora

Set right on the sandy beach of Agios Georgios, Kalergis Studios is surrounded by colourful gardens. It offers tasteful accommodation with a well-equipped kitchenette and dining area. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Amazing value for money! I am a picky traveler and it also met my cleanliness standards. It is literally on the beach and the views are amazing! We could not get over how cheap this was for the value. Little kitchenette is nice as well if you plan to cook though we did not with so many good spots nearby. Quiet for sleeping and comfy bed. Would stay here again for sure.

Petrino

Ambrami

Situated 200 metres away from the sandy Abram Beach, Petrino Hotel is set amidst a lush tree garden overlooking the Aegean Sea. It offers rooms with kitchenette, and serves home-cooked cuisine in a shaded courtyard. Attempt to keep your eyes on the road during the drive up to Petrino. Across the Naxian countryside with hulking mountains and vertical vineyards juxtaposed against the blue Aegean Sea, there’s much to absorb already about the land and its predecessors. In the spring, wildflowers bloom colorfully in bright purples and pinks and the northern part of the island is more idyllic and green. Driving up and down the inclines seem dicey at times until you reach this family-owned establishment where the sisters, Hara and Marianna, welcome you with a tasty treat. The warm welcome from the family and the puppy Ludo was already so heartwarming. Bask in the views and take in the surroundings… it is a truly an energetically magnetic place. I highly recommend having dinner at least one night (we went for all) as the multi-course mea is fresh out of the oven by the matriarch of the family, served each evening with Orange or red wine and an incredibly tasty dessert. Thank you to Petrino and its wonderful sisters for the hospitality. My family will return someday to meet yours!

Hotel Palatia 1 stars

Agios Georgios Beach, Naxos Chora

On Agios Georgios Beach, just 200 metres from Naxos Town, Hotel Palatia features rooms with a balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea or mountains. The hotel offers breakfast and free Wi-Fi.

The air-conditioned rooms are bright and airy with tiled floors. They include a TV and fridge. Each has a private bathroom with a shower. We concur with all the prior reviews. Immaculately clean, tastefully refurbished, perfect location. Nice comfortable beds. We booked a room that we knew didn't have a view but had a nice big balcony that was the perfect place to relax after a hard day of doing very little. Melos and all the team, perfect hosts. Your efforts don't go unnoticed. Do definitely recommend. Think that covers it all 😎

Anemomilos 2 stars

Agia Anna Naxos

Just 50 metres from Agia Anna Beach, Anemomilos offers air-conditioned rooms with private balconies overlooking the hotel’s swimming pool. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the premises.

Anemomilos’ spacious and tastefully furnished rooms include a kitchenette with fridge, and en suite bathroom with hairdryer. Each comes with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Great location in the vibrant north-west part of the island. Agia Anna is less busy that Agios Prokopios which is directly to its north but less sprawling than Plaka which is directly to the south. The hotel is only few steps from the beach yet tucked away on a quiet dead-end street so it was quiet and away from beach traffic. There was convenient and easy access to two mini-markets for necessities, the bus stop for going down to Chora (where finding a parking spot is a nightmare), a few restaurants and bars right on the beach or a nice walk away to Plaka for more dining options and water sports. The breakfast buffet at Santana was great and super convenient. The facility was very well taken care of, the rooms were spotlessly clean and nicely equipped. Katerina, the hotel manager, and her husband Panagiotis were phenomenal hosts. Very friendly, personable and always eager to provide suggestions for where to go, what to eat, etc. They were around the hotel most of the day and sometimes in the evening, always up for a chat or to keep company for a glass (or two!) of Ouzo.
