Staff were super friendly and there were wonderful personal touches such as homemade cake and macaroons left in our room and a glass of fizz at cocktail hour. We have already booked the same room again for when we are next in Sheffield.

The property features lovely greenery, as well its own cave and patio area. Interiors feature wooden beams, original fireplaces and embossed wallpaper. The spacious rooms have elegant design and come with free WiFi, heating and a private bathroom. Some rooms look onto the nearby River Derwent. Very clean and comfortable room and bed, excellent food, lovely people.

All rooms have a flat screen TV, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Most rooms have an en suite shower, while 2 rooms share a luxury bathroom. There is an extra private bathroom including a bath available to all guests. Two of the rooms are pet-friendly. Quaint home close to Chatsworth if you plan to visit there. Hosts were so welcoming, wonderful traditional breakfast & cake in the evenings. Very clean and comfortable.

Included parking is right at the boat and directions to access are complete and simple. Nearby pubs and cafes. If you go, and you see owner Mark around the boats in the morning, talk to him! He is friendly with loads of stories and information and can tell you all about the boats. Our first visit to Sheffield, an interesting city with lots of history and many restaurants, pubs and historical sights. We hope to be back!
