The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning.

Each stylish room has fresh light décor. The breakfast was delicious, a good variety of options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is nicely decorated and our room was very pleasant and comfortable. I absolutely recommend a stay here.

Clean, tidy, comfy beds, nice amenities, great shower, nice design, space for cloths, very tall bed so you can fit you luggage beneath it (necessary as the room area is small)

The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. pool, spa, nice scene of Bowness Pier

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake District scenery. Perfect in many aspects. it’s just off the main road, and has a great view. Very nice and welcoming staff. We stayed in the basic double room, good heating system, great water pressure with hot water. We also had a delicious dinner there. They serve some homemade goodies (Their biscuits are delicious). Looking forward to coming back.

Suitable for adults only, each room at Jerichos come with flat-screen TVs, en suite bathrooms and iPod docks. Tea/coffee making facilities are also provided. Original Victorian period features adorn the property, which also offers a cosy lounge. Great interior and exterior. The room is clean and there are some coffee and tea. Breakfast is really good!!

Location excellent, beautiful house, comfortable bed and super pillows. Amazing quality breakfast. Great friendly, highly efficient staff. Would definitely return. Situated in Levens, 18 km from World of Beatrix Potter, The Hare and Hounds, Levens features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 32 km of Trough of Bowland. The property is non-smoking and is set 12 km from Kendal Castle. Only problem was we didn't have long enough here so are going to have to re visit. Stayed here but wedding at villa Leven's. Rooms/staff/Breakfast first classing. Nothing not to like thanks

Located in the town of Ambleside, in the heart of the Lake District National Park, these rooms are situated above Stiles Coffee Bar, both featuring views of the surrounding fells.

Stiles has two B&B rooms, one double room (Shiraz) and one king-size room (Merlot), one of which has a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the other has a shower over a whirlpool spa bath. Towels, bed linen, toiletries and a hairdryer are all provided. Ironing facilities are also available if required. Great location, very nice staff, excellent breakfast. Loved the town of Ambleside. Large room.
