In the pretty market town of Ross-on-Wye, the family-run Bridge House has a large garden overlooking the river. Most rooms have views of the water or the 12th-century ruins of Wilton Castle, just 2 minutes’ walk from the building. the property was beautiful and very tastefully furnished. lamps were lit in the evenings making everywhere look cosy. The garden was gorgeous with different seating areas. Breakfasts were lovely as was the breakfast room. Kathryn and Kevin, the hosts, were lovely friendly and full of information regarding the area.

There are 10 well-appointed, purpose-designed en suite bedrooms at first and ground floor level. Free use of high speed wireless broadband is available in all areas. Extensive free parking is also available. Very helpful staff. Good communication. Lovely room
