The on-site restaurant serves authentic Sichuan cuisines Everything is just perfect. Toiletries are over expectations. They provide necessities & even slippers & toothbrush for children. Their staff are so well trained and helpful. Some can speak English. We arrived on 6/4/24. We pre-booked a car. He was punctual and nice driver. There was a male staff, didn’t get his name but he was so helpful with getting transportation, giving ideas where to go. He was so patient & help us booked tickets to see Panda. The breakfast is good for us. Varieties of bread, hot soup noodles, Chinese dumplings and the best is the coffee machine which is 24/7 and the boiled fruit tea. On a cold & rainy day, that was a real comfort. There’s a park just across the hotel & you can walk about 20 mins - 1 hour strolling walk to shopping mall like Taikoo Li. There’s a restaurant in the hotel which serve’s absolutely delicious sichuan dishes. Requested for not-so-spicy! Not expensive. They gave discount vouchers so for 3 of us, the dinner costs us Yuan170+

Housed in a traditional courtyard-style building, this well-conserved BuddhaZen offers rooms with modern Chinese décor and flat-screen TVs. Featuring a SPA and a Chinese restaurant, it provides business services and free WiFi in all areas. It is a 5-minute stroll from Wenshu Monastery Metro Station (K Exit). My friends and I were exceedingly happy with our choice to stay at Buddha Zen Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel in a very fun, dynamic neighbourhood, with many great cafés and food spots in close vicinity. We also found the rooms to be spacious and super comfortable! Would definitely return here on my next trip to Chengdu.

Chargeable tour arrangement is possible upon request. I loved loved loved my stay at Sonderia! This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in China and the friends I met here and the fun I had will stick with me. The manager, Damon, is a super fun and friendly guy who is down to hangout with the guests and show everyone a good time. The free morning coffee from 9am-10am is a great touch and it's actually quite good! The rooms are good and the beds are firm and comfy. The small gym was functional and had enough free weights for most exercises. I can't wait to visit Chengdu again soon and stay at Sonderia!!
