The bed and breakfast is 20 metres away from Saint Bartholomew's Church and 50 metres from the Curtius Museum. Easy walk to centre of city (despite the roadworks), lovely modern room with comfy beds. It was nice to have the option of both firm and soft pillows. Optional breakfast was wonderful.

The area is ideal for walking and cycling. The room was clean and comfortable. The garden is beautiful. Luc is knowledgeable about the local history. He shared a lot of stories with us. Fabienne speaks English and made us feel stay at home because we can't speak French, only English.

Rooms at Berneau feature an individual décor and include a desk and a minibar. Each has a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Charming converted barn next to old village walls. A lovely courtyard for an evening drink if you have the time, and the host was very nice and informative. Ask about the WIFI code! We forgot, and after dinner out, it was late, resulting in no internet for us during our stay. The decor is cozy/granny, and you can hear other guests from the courtyard. Overall a pleasant stay.
