Located in Wentworth Falls, Valley of the Waters Bed & Breakfast boasts stunning views over the Jamison Valley towards the Southern Highlands. It is 15 minutes' drive from Katoomba Scenic World and the Three Sisters. Incredible view. Walks literally 2 minutes away, and 5- 10 minute drive to katoomba (park down by the katoomba falls reserve and walk around cliff walk to 3 sisters rather than paying $12/hour for parking). Fridge and kettle, milk provided. Recommend mountain culture beer company for a drink/ burger too.

Carrington Hotel 4 stars

Katoomba

200 meters from Katoomba Train Station, The Carrington offers elegant accommodation in a heritage-listed refurbished manor. It features fine dining and casual dining options, multiple bars and a performance space. I really enjoyed everything from the warm welcome to the level of service. Staff is wonderful! Excellent breakfast and food in the dining room, the bar is well stocked. The Carrington has an undiscribable atmosphere. If in Katoomba this is the place to stay if you enjoy an old (1880) colonial hotel. Sitting on the veranda you can almost feel like taken back in time (with som imagination of course). I highly recommend this hotel!

The Metropole Guest House Katoomba 3.5 stars

Katoomba

This 1930’s style guesthouse offers comfortable rooms in central Katoomba, across from the Kingsford Smith Park. Attractions nearby The Metropole include the Blue Mountains’ Three Sisters and the Scenic Railway. It features an on-site restaurant. We stayed in the newly renovated family room in early December and it was great. Comfy beds, spacious enough to relax in without bumping in to each other, TV in both rooms, lovely big shower and air con - everything we needed. Brekkie was delicious, just wish there was "proper" coffee... but definitely not a deal breaker. Hosts were lovely. We'll definitely be back.
