The apartment is directly on a golf course and there are people playing golf just infront of your patio. we were not too bothered by this but it is worth mentioning.
As soon as I entered the door, my daughter said: I like the design style of this house very much. The large floor window looks like a tree full of flowers. The interior decoration is simple and generous, and the sliding door in the bedroom is very creative. I feel that the owner is a warm, intimate and loving person. We all like the wonderful experience these days very much. Thank you!

Newly renovated, unusually high quality for Hawaii, nice view, optimalsspot to explore the area, great concept, great prices and wonderful staff. Feels like a boutique/design hotel.
Such a lovely and peaceful place, feels like heaven... Beautiful sea view, spacious room for two, very (!) comfortable bed, silent ceiling fan, cute design of the house inviting to peace and meditation, swimming pool, nice owner giving precious advises and providing us with everything we need. Besides, the location is very convenient: close to a small but beautiful white sand beach (7 min walk) and the city of Kona with restaurants and shops (15 min car ride). We will definitely choose this accomodation again if we come back to Hawaii.
I stayed at the Big Island Retreat while competing at the Ironman World Championship. What a stunning find, a perfect hotel for the race, close enough to Kailua-Kona to be accessible, far enough away to avoid the chaos. If you like older buildings, this is the place, so nice to stay in a room with real character
It wasn't cheap, but still great value compared to the crazy prices that other places charge. Big room, lovely veranda, excellent cooking facilities, great bed, plenty of parking
