I would not recommend a solo woman staying here.
It is in a safe place of town, actually a lovely area of town.
The best thing that this hotel had going for it ,was the lovely lady who checked me in and who came back in the morning. She is a winner!
I cannot recommend this hotel for women travelers.
Breakfast just OK but adequate. Wish there was a plug from my phone right beside the bed. I had to plug it into a wall outlet near the floor to charge room is the interesting design.
We came to Charlotte for the Van Gogh exhibit, and stayed at Canopy. A wonderful boutique hotel with an amazing bar - unusual drinks…(even one he lights on fire) and a great breakfast cafe, with all kinds of coffee choices. The rooms are wonderful and sleek. We enjoyed our mother/daughter getaway!
Very friendly staff, beautifully appointed hotel. Gorgeous outside pool and outdoor lounge areas. Room was well designed.
