The best service I have ever received in any hotel. I was sick during my stay and had to go to a clinic. Tom, the manager at the front desk made sure I was taken care of and even had the hotel car take me to the clinic. When I was finished they went to pick me up. I will never forget their kindness and care. It's terrible to be sick while abroad, Shanti Hotel made me feel taken care of. All the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I loved the Island so much and will surely be back next year to stay at Shanti. Thanks so much for taking such good care of me.
Haad Chao Phao (Near Srithanu)
Sunset Hill Boutique Resort Koh Phangan sits atop a tropical hill overlooking Koh Phangan's west coast and enjoys panoramic sea views. Sunset Hill is a great place to stay if you're ever in Koh Phangan. Elaine, the hotel manager made everything easy for us as she also helped us with transportation to/from the Full Moon Party. She was very accommodating and made sure everything is perfect during our stay. Location wise, there are plenty of beaches and cafes around. The hotel also offers free shuttles down the hill and/or to Secret Beach. However, you definitely need to have a scooter and/or car to rent as that will make it easier to go around Koh Phangan. All in all, our stay was perfect!
Haad Yao (Near Srithanu)
Built into a cliff on Haad Yao, west of Phangan Island, High Life Bungalow offers Balinese and Thai-style accommodation with steps leading down to the beach. It also provides an outdoor infinity pool and free Wi-Fi. Chargeable transfers from Thongsala Pier to the resort are available.

Incredible view directly by the beach, spacious villa, tasty and varied breakfast, and the dinner was just incredibly delicious. Can recommend almost anything on the menu :) The perfect, quiet escape to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature and sea!

Splendid Location, quiet area, you will swim in the pool and having the breakfast in front of the sea. Room are classic Thai style, spacious, and clean. This is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the island (you can rent a motorbike at the hotel and you are good to go pretty everywhere). The best part of our staying actually was the staff: really kind, professional and keen to help all the guests. The hotel manager is golden.
