Housed in a historical Renaissance building in Montepulciano, Palazzo Nobile di San Donato - Historic Experience offers rooms with free WiFi and antique furnishings. It offers views of the Val d'Orcia valley and over the town of Montepulciano.

Well, the first thing I want to say is what a magnificent building and that the pictures are very accurate. And that we felt like the Medici ourselves! The rooms are large, elegant and from a design point, Italian ornate, we loved it. We liked to open the windows at sunset and stare. Our room had the landscape view, distant rolling hills and vineyards just like in a movie. Right out front door is the Grand Piaza. Remarkably helpful staff, especially Valentina who made our breakfast in the morning and was so attentive. Breakfast itself is excellent. Home baked fresh. We are over 70 Americans. Be sure to ask about parking and how to operate your card in machine. Enjoy!

Dating back to the early Middle Ages, Villa Cicolina is now a charming hotel. Boasting fantastic views of the Tuscan countryside, it guarantees a personalised service and an unforgettable stay.

Set close to Montepulciano, this was once the country retreat of a noble family. It features antique furniture, original paintings and frescoed ceilings. Explore the large, private gardens which lead down to a small church. The garden features a swimming pool with hydromassage, which is surrounded by olive groves.

Loved all about this hotel, from staff to pool. The breakfast was lovely, could be consumed inside or out in a small patio and there was plenty of choices to eat/drink. The pool area were very relaxed and beautiful, enjoyed a day off just laying there in the sun. Room spacy, modern and had comfortable beds with duvets. A fridge. Nice amenities in the shower (incl conditioner and lotion). A small sitting area outside the room was very appreciable and made evenings nicer looking out over the Tuscany landscape. Car park with plenty of spaces. Friendly and helpful staff!

Amazing host, Emanuela - so friendly and helpful. We were able to even leave our luggage after check-out to explore the city comfortable on the day of departure. Very considerate and even received biscuits as it was my birthday. Lovely designed apartment and great location in the middle of the town, perfect for exploring. It was a bit chilly when we travelled, but the heating worked perfectly. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is located right in the city center, in a former monastery. The architecture, decor, and the way architectural and interior design elements have been blended together make it unique. The view is fabulous, and there's a spectacular spot that we'll let you discover on your own. It's worth it!

Absolutely beautiful. Montepulciano is one of the most stunning places in Italy. The staff were great and suggested a wine bar for dinner and reserved it for us. The chef in the morning made a fantastic breakfast. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. The hotel is in the best location, overlooking the main plaza area where movies have been filmed. Exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic location. Was able to drive in and drop off the bags and then park for free in a designated parking area, just needed to provide your licence plate number to reception. Breakfast room was lovely and good coffee and cooked breakfast supplied. The staff were friendly but feel they could have been short staffed as it took some time to clear the tables. Our room had a lovely view down to the main street but with the windows shut the room was very quiet.
