Having your own room entirely in a beautifully designed cabin, with a fabulous view out over a lake, made the stay feel incredibly relaxing especially after a day of exploring. The beds are great, and the shower was hot with good pressure. Small touches like the Marshall speakers and the modern TV set up made relaxing even easier.
Immaculate, cosy, stylish welcoming lodges. Exactly as described. Very quiet area overlooking the lake- frozen this week. We chose the location in order to hopefully see the aurora- we weren’t disappointed. We were having dinner and they informed us that the lights were on! Fabulous!
The meal was lovely too- staff were great, very friendly and helpful.

I really liked the location, the possibility to see the northern lights was very high there. It was a good spot to stay and go for sightseeing around. The view was stunning and the rooms design was cool as well. The room size was also very good. Also the owner of the hostel was very friendly and amazingly helpful. He came around the kitchen and we had a long chat, he helped us with where to go, which areas are dangerous and we need to be cautious due to weather conditions.
The sharing facilities were also superb.
This small boutique hotel is truly unique. Every detail fits. The interior design is perfect combined with a unique view on a lake and a small waterfall - can it get more relaxing?! When you sleep in those beds you never want to get out anymore.
The restaurant serves one of the best dinners which we had on Iceland.
This hotel should be on the bucket list of everyone traveling along the ring road.
What an amazing place to stay with views across the lakes.The room was perfect, great scandi design. Lovely meal at the Bistro in the evening and nice breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer
Just beautiful. Cabins were beautifully designed and lots of small details had been thought of. Bathroom was huge and very stylish. Wonderful and peaceful view from the cabins. My favourite stay of our trip!
