Amazing place, very nice design and confortable room! The pictures don't do it justice, the open are space is way better than expected, nicelly decorated and with movies, games, etc.
This was by far our favourite place to stay on our road trip around Iceland. The view is amazing, and the cabin is very cosy and beautifully designed. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and we really appreciated their hospitality. The discount code for the nearby Vök Baths was a great bonus!
It is a beautiful house in stunning scenery. The beds were comfortable and it was all spotless. We arrived very late due to the appalling weather but Sonja waited for us so she could help us to check in. Parking was easy just outside the front door. Lovely and warm, with plenty of radiators so we managed to dry all of our soaking wet coats etc by morning.
The cottage was excellent. The structure is very well made and sturdy with impressive design. The furniture and fittings are also high quality. We loved the coffee machine and bbq. Bedding linen are also good quality.
Very nice small luxury hotel in the woods south of Egilsstadir with views of the lake from the outdoor hot tubs and restaurant. The two hot tubs have a very pleasant temperature. Bathrobe and slippers were offered for free. Spacious, modern and stylish ground-floor rooms with terrace, a small table and desk.
Excellent breakfast, they even prepared fresh waffles and pancakes. Dinner was also great and freshly prepared in the open kitchen.
It is a hostel connected to a bar. The interior design is amazing, it felt like a Harry Potter movie. They have a piano in the common area, also a tv with NES classic. You can drive 2 minutes outside of the city to see the northern lights, also there is a supermarket in 5 minutes walk
The studio was very well designed, great use of space and good kitchen facilities, with even a small carton of milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch which we haven't had anywhere else in Iceland! Everything was spotless and the beds were comfortable, easy check in and check out. There is also a nice bakery opposite that we went to for some breakfast. All in all a great place to stay!
Cute and cozy little cottage with modern interior design. Fully equipped kitchen, there is everything you need except that you need to bring your own shampoo. Located right in front of the lake, view is absolutely amazing!
