My wife and I traveled all over Ireland on our summer vacation. We were really looking forward to visiting the Dingle Peninsula and staying at this famous hotel that hosted the likes of Robert Mitchum and Rick Steves. Upon arrival, we were greeted by two beautiful Irish wolfhounds. We may have stayed in the same room as one of them. The service was outstanding and the breakfast was simple, but offered Irish butter and cheeses made by those happy cows. The room was elegant and large. We had a bayview room which we really enjoyed. The bar is wonderful too, especially since your reservation comes with a free drink. The rooms throughout Milltown House are gorgeously furnished. The afternoon we arrived, the kitchen staff was cooking for the arrival of a tour group. It smelled amazing even though it was not for us. Sure, you are not in the heart of Dingle, but on the outskirts. However, for a short stay, it is worth it. It was only a fifteen minute walk into town.

Location was perfect and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They granted us an early check in which was brilliant as I had asked if possible a week before coming as it was out first time in Dingle. They then showed us where to go in Dingle and what to see. We very much enjoyed everything with the hotel. Location, staff, food and drinks at the hotel. Brilliant stay

Hotel is huge and staff were exceptional. I think they are incredibly hard working even just to walk from one end of the corridor to the other is a big task! Rooms were very clean. We did not use pool. Had a gorgeous massage. Sauna and steam room not working that day but that was fine. The views are absolutely stunning. Nice breakfast and love the water taps for filling up our bottles throughout hotel.

Highly recommended. Had a wonderful stay here. Place is near the Brandon creek which was gorgeous. The house is near to slea head drive. The place was clean and affordable. The room was warm and the shower was lovely. The host was marvelous. She gave us tips how to travel dingle. They have a large farm with lambs and chicken and the owner was nice to let us hold their baby lamb. Nice play to stay to get away from the busy town. Would definitely comeback.

We booked the last room - a budget double knowing it was going to be a very small room. We were thoroughly impressed with how well it was laid out and how efficient the design was. It was the best shower on our trip and they supplied excellent toiletries too. Tori was a great host. Breakfast very good too. The location was perfect also.

Great location in the middle of a small, picturesque village in utterly stunning surroundings. Staff were absolutely lovely throughout - very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The hotel may not be 5 Star but the service was. Rooms were spotlessly clean and exactly as advertised.

Modern, well designed rooms with good space. Very good bed. Lovely view. Good coffee and tea and fruit along with bars and biscuits. Joe, the owner, kept checking to see things were OK. It is about a ten - fifteen walk to town and a taxi is seven to eight Euros.

If i could give it 11 stars i would, Joe is an excellent host and couldnt have been anymore helpful (he even got us a table in Doyles very last minute). I can honestly say i dont think ive ever stayed in a bnb or hotel where some was as helpful as Joe. The property is absolutely stunning, very stylish, modern and classy. It was super clean, bed was very comfy and coffee machine in the hall is a great plus. Location is perfect only a couple of minutes stroll into town. We will definitely be back to stay- thanks for everthing!
