It's a truly beautiful place with a unique interior design that we loved. Findig our room was like climbing up the stairs in a maze (in a good way) and made us feel as if we were staying in a castle. The room was clean, with surprise Kit-Kat bars and Cadbury hot chocolate powder on the tea table. The bed was big and comfy, bathroom shower excellent with two shower heads. Staff was really nice and helpful (e.g. carrying my luggage to our room). We loved the little garden in the back and the location is also perfect, in a quiet area but ten minutes on foot from the city centre. We appreciated that at breakfast, the self-service table was monitored and restacked regularly. If we return to York, we would love to book this place again.

Very comfortable appartement in an excellent location. Kitchen well equipped and Juliet and Nick bought us some lovely food: cakes, scones, breakfast things, coffee, etc., and even a bottle of wine. All good quality products and much appreciated! They clearly cared about our comfort and went out of their way to make us feel at home.

We added breakfast to our plan. The dining room was well appointed, had a range of fruits, juice, and yogurt and cereal alongside a full English Breakfast cooked to order. A perfect way to fuel a day of sightseeing.

Everything, did not dissapoint, nice touches, lovely breakfast.
The property offers limited free off-street parking but also has free non restricted parking in the two adjacent streets and frequent bus services to the centre pass the property regularly.
