We had an unusual room that was more like two rooms. It was quirky, but nice.

Situated in Boldon Business Park, Clarion Hotel Newcastle South is within 5 miles of Newcastle and 6 miles of Sunderland. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, an on-site bar and restaurant, and a leisure club.

Run by professional staff and polite. Me and family felt comfortable. Clean room and space was good with our 3 big luggage. Was offered for facilities ie swimming pools etc, but we are tired just want to have good rest. Bed was comfy and good toilet with hot shower.

Lovely location, beautiful inn and the rooms were clean and pleasant. We had a sea view with a balcony and it was stunning. We were right next door to a club so if you’re coming for a quiet break, don’t book the sea view with a balcony. We were in said club until closing so it didn’t affect our break.

Absolutely fabulous stay in a lovely apartment. Great location, warm and friendly communication from Lesley from booking throughout the stay. Although only here a couple of days, the apartment has everything you would need to self cater and stay for longer periods. Comfortable and stylish and a home from home. Some lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. Would always choose to stay here for a trip to the North East.

Great location, nice sized room albeit a bit old fashion in design. Furniture was very old fashioned and tacky in presentation. A good shower, consistent pressure and temperature. The leisure facilities were good but looking a bit neglected.Great seafront views but the handles on the windows were broken.
