This historic country inn has delicious food and luxury rooms. It is within a few km of the famous Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup.

The Old Barn Inn dates back to the early 1750s. The individual rooms are chic, but match the rustic style. Each has silk furnishings and Egyptian cotton sheets, and feature complimentary wi-fi.

Quaint; we had the penthouse suite which has a huge single room and jacuzzi and small balcony plus in an unusually hot day a ceiling fan which I am not sure all the other rooms have

The bedroom was first class, well thought out by designers & appointed well. The bed provided a dream sleep. The breakfast was edible/ acceptable but no more than average. Despite that i would not hesitate to book an outstanding bedroom again, also the location so close to M4 motorway is a bonus. Not particulary scenic surrounds unless the Budweiser brewery turns you on, mind you the look of that is far more pleasant than the beer they brew!

Brand new building, very clean and well designed. Comfortable rooms with every detail nicely thought-through. There was a small gym. Very clean hotel with convenient access from parking. Somewhat difficult to find access but nothing that makes it a problem. Breakfast was typical American-style continental basic. Very friendly staff. Hotel located in industrial subdivision.

New-build hotel in service area. Nice room, plenty of space. Appreciated the rare design of the shower, you could turn on the taps without standing in the flow of water, thus making it possible to get the temperature right without getting frozen or scalded. Excellent Wifi. Good breakfast.

Considering the price, we were very happy with breakfast. We particularly like the omelettes and everything that we enjoy for breakfast was available. I loved the mugs and the overall 'sunshine' feel of the decor etc. The roo. was comfortable, with a well thought out design and some appreciated extras (iron in the room, two lots of towels - instead of the one, which we usually experience in more expensive hotels, two bedside tables)
