It was spotless and very cleverly designed. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The bottles of water, milk and juice in the fridge was a lovely treat too and the warm fresh croissant on the door for breakfast was a nice touch.

Wonderful location in a cul de sac right beside the castle and cathedral. Private parking free directly opposite. Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly. Lovely building, period features, excellent interior design. Quiet room, well equipped with chairs and two televisions (!). Places to eat nearby or could brave the aptly named Steep Hill to the livelier student eateries, like Wagamama. We’d go again like a shot.
