In a beautifully converted 18th century textile mill in Lindley, 2 miles from the centre of Huddersfield, these stylish and contemporary luxury apartments offer a fitness suite, free parking and free WiFi.

I felt so comfortable and relaxed when I arrived and sat down that I didn't want to get ready and leave to go to the family occasion nearby. I will come back and spend time for myself relaxing and chilling out and some exploring too, me time in the beauty spa too.

The room was pleasantly decorated and the bed was not uncomfortable. However, the bathroom overwhelmingly smelled of cigarettes. The fan didn’t appear to be working, so the smell remained the same for the entire stay. It was as strong as if someone was actually smoking in the room, which led us to believe that it led onto a designated smoking area outside. Not a wise design!! This was extremely unpleasant and really did ruin our stay. The road up to the hotel was extremely steep and not for the faint hearted. The view however was lovely.

We were welcomed warmly, and delighted with our room and amenities, and indeed the whole Inn. It has all been so stylishly redesigned without losing a very personal character. The planting outside is also very attractive. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening meal, and the breakfast - both were exceptional. We should like return and stay longer to appreciate the spaces we didn't get to use, such as the sitting rooms on both levels.

Gorgeous boutique style hotel. Made to feel very welcome. Setting is gorgeous. Bar dishes and breakfast both delicious. I wish we stayed for a week! Only a few mins taxi ride to Halifax (we stayed for a gig at Piece Hall) so why would you stay at basic city centre hotels when you have luxury down the road for the same price?

What a gem of a find! Tucked away in quite a remote location but with spectacular views above the valley. We were at a wedding nearby and couldn't get a room at the wedding venue but thank goodness as the new hobbit was just gorgeous. We stayed in one of the annex rooms and it was lovely. Spacious, modern, very clean and lovely decor. The main pub area was also stunning and the breakfast was lovely, fresh and hot with plenty of choice. Very friendly staff too. Would highly recommend.

This Inn is full of character and very old with beams and stone flagged floors in the bar and restaurant. The outdoor eating is in a lovely location too set in a valley with beck, trees and a woodland walk.. we were given a room in the old mill loft which was disappointing because we had no view and £140 a night. We still enjoyed our stay as the inclusive breakfast was excellent and in a lovely upper restaurant, again full of old world charm and interior designer touches everywhere. I would stay here again.
