Built in the 1880s for a famous gunmaker, Tyr Graig Castle was designed to resemble both a castle and a double-barrelled shotgun. Today it still has original features, including stained glass windows.

What a lovely place to stay, staff were so helpful and friendly, with stunning views over the coast. If you like history the house/ hotel is full of it.

Lovely, modern, clean caravan. On a great site. Stunning views! Lovely walk into Barmouth along the promenade. Great, secure outdoor area that our dog loved - we all loved watching the world go by through the gorgeous glass balustrade. Lovely welcome pack we also loved the handmade welcome and guest books ( lovely touch ) Charlotte was very helpful. All in all, a wonderful 3 night break away for us. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone! Thank you xx

Absolutely gorgeous building with a stunning outlook. We enjoyed a bottle of wine on the veranda and watched the sunset. Nice, easy 10 minute walk into the town. Lovely, friendly, chatty staff. Plenty of choice at breakfast - I'm not really a breakfast person but appreciated the hot coffee and the fruit and cereal selection. Our room had a sea view which was great. Kept the window open and woke up to the sound of the sea every morning. Lush.

Everything, The Pub/Hotel was a fab quirky, old fashioned style themed place. The bar staff were friendly. The morning breakfast was served up looking good & tasted very nice & plenty of it. Our room, The Superior room was fantastic, the period feature furniture, looked fab against the cream walls & our four poster bed was very comfy. The bathroom was beautifully designed, couldn't fault a thing with anything, one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in ....& a sea view. Will definitely stay again.
