L'écu de Bretagne is situated in the quiet medieval village of Beaugency. It features an outdoor, heated swimming pool, and WiFi is free of charge in the entire property.

The air-conditioned rooms at L'écu de Bretagne all have en suite facilities with free toiletries. They are also soundproofed and offer carpeted floor, individual heating.

The 'superior' room was a positive surprise. Very nice, clean and with a lot of space. Very nice bathroom! The hotel is located in the center of Beaugency so that it was very easy to visit the medieval small city. The hotel offers a (secured) parking facility inside the walls of the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Knowing now the distances to the various castles, I would have stayed a few days longer than for one night, and would have used the hotel as base for visiting several castles. If I would come back to that region, I would for sure return to that hotel.

Located on the edge of the Loire River, Logis Hôtel Le Relais Louis XI is set in a historic building, which used to house Louis XI’s private stables. Free WiFi is provided throughout.

Logis Hôtel Le Relais Louis XI offers elegant rooms with charming features, such as claw-foot baths, fireplaces or parquet floors. Some have a view of the Loire Valley, and others overlook the garden.

We went to sleep with the view from our window of a full moon just across the river. Incredible place to stay, so much history! The restaurant is also extremely beautiful. Will definitely recommend it.

Welcoming, warm, cosy. Friendly staff . Room was well furnished with long mirror and bathroom large with a large shelf for our toiletries. The hotel is very attractive set around a garden and pool. Beautiful in the sun but unfortunately raining for our stay. Lovely location just outside beautiful Beacauncy! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fine old building with many period features, but sensitively improved without being over- modernised. Lovely comfortable communal lounge.

The host and the property far exceeded our expectations. The apartment had all that we needed and more. Fresh fruit in the bowl and coffee capsules for the machine. The property is tastefully designed and comfortable in every way. Probably the best property of many that we’ve stayed in.

We arrived very jet-lagged after a long trip from Australia and were warmly received by Helene, the owner. This has to be one of our favourite boutique hotels which we have stopped over many times. The meals here are always special and creative with Helene’s husband and chef obtaining the freshest produce. We always feel we have 'arrived' when we stay here.
