Cottage is a lovely spot and amazing view. Staff and owner are friendly and agreeable with a delicious breakfast. Plus, a store selling wines, port, olive oil, and much more. Excellent products and prices.

Casa De Casal can arrange local tours such as Douro River boat rides. The surrounding countryside is perfect for hiking. I stayed at Casa de Casal de Loivos for two nights with my boyfriend as a getaway weekend. The view is stunning, absolutely beautiful. The room was modern and with all the comforts you could need. You can have dinner at the place for €27,5 (beverages excluded), recommended. The staff was amazing. I hope I can return one day soon.
