Great location and clean modern well appointed apartment with nice views to estuary and dunes. Close to the village facilities but tucked away so quiet and peaceful spot.

I did not hear anything from my neighbours next door. That was awesome. At night you can hear the waves and cricket very peaceful and quiet. Very comfy bed and you can see to the beach and the sea while laying in bed.
We truly loved everything about Wairimu Lodge. From the beautifully decorated room and luxurious bathroom, to the view, to the thoughtful touches including ample breakfast options (even croissants!). It was so quiet and peaceful, and felt incredibly private despite being attached to Peta & Rich's house. Peta & Rich are incredibly generous hosts, and the welcome book provided gave us so many helpful hints about the property, the local area, and even included up-to-date menus of local eateries.
