Lake Femunden is the second largest lake in Norway, and guests can rent boats from the property for fishing or exploring the lake. Hiking and cycling are also popular in the area, while the Swedish skiing area of Idre Fjäll is only an hour’s drive away. The lake view and historic farm buildings were peaceful. We even had an opportunity to eat some lake white fish and video a herd of reindeer.

The host is very nice and kind, apartments are really good quality. Even a shared bathroom is so clean, so you don’t worry about it’s not private. It’s so quiet and peaceful place
Lovely stay in perfect nature surroundings in Lillehammer spa hotel! We loved the room with bathtub, the peace and quiet in the room and in the hotel., and the wonderful spa and pool areas. We also had dinners in the restaurant with very good service and had a gift in the room as it was my birthday! Thanks to this, it felt like being in a luxury retreat, at the very best of winter with all white garden and sunny days.
The peaceful surroundings, comfortable bed, home cooked dinner and friendly staff. So many hiking and biking trails in the area during summer.
Terrific facility, modern yet beautifully in keeping with the environment. Very well appointed rooms, dining area and overall hard to find such luxurious accommodation in the wonderful countryside surroundings. All with an olympic gold medal chef to cook your meals.
Easy and friendly check-in. Very good breakfast. Quiet and nice sleeping in a good, warm bed. Big TV so I could watch movies in bed :D The room was light and peaceful. And the marking of room-doors is quite funny. I liked the strange numbering :D And it is convenient that all rooms are on first floor. Less carrying of luggage! Tolga is a very nice place. Interesting if you are into history and architecture.
Clean, modern, functional cabin, with an outdoor terrace overlooking lake and mountains. Even though the location was close to a busy road, it was quiet and peaceful. The cabin had all we needed for an overnight stay. Various places of interest nearby, including a small stave church. A good place to stop between Bergen and Oslo.
Wow the place was really cute. Loads of charm, quiet, peaceful and a comfy bed. I’m looking forward to staying there again.
