It is within walking distance from Nara Park. The hotel is immaculately presented and room was large and felt luxurious. We really enjoyed the 'western' breakfast. We also liked the tea room and the lounge area. Staff were very helpful.
Our second stay at Bakery Hotel Chateau D’or was just as good as first. Great location right next to Nara park, helpful and friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Will be here again.
I loved this place, very comfortable room, helpfull staff. I enjoed private time in the onsen and massage chair after that. Very quiet peaceful neibourghood.

The location is wonderful, peaceful and quiet and right in the deer park. We had a studio flat with a kitchen, dining table, sofa and double and single beds and separate bathroom including washing machine. It was perfect for us.
Amazing Japanese food, impeccable service (attentive yet non intrusive) , quiet location lovely peaceful views. The temple, turn right outside the door and walk for 10 mins was incredible, virtually no one there and more impressive than the tourist traps in Kyoto (fushimi inari) amazing mountain view. The location is amazing. 10 minute taxi from Oji station. Can't recommend highly enough. The onsen was lovely.
It is in the old town, so it is very easy to get anywhere on foot! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful! We liked the old house but our room is in the courtyard which is new. I guess it is because we asked for a room with a private bathroom!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Rokune in Nara, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, just a short walk from Nara Park and many of the city's other top attractions. The hotel is unmanned but checking in and out was very simple. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with all the amenities you need.
The owners are so so nice and accommodating! The place was super clean, quiet, peaceful street and location. Definitely recommend!
