We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cannero as a family with adult children very much. The rooms, the swimming-pool, the restaurant and the tables right next to the water of Lago Maggiore are just great! You can go walking or hiking in the Cannero village or the nearby mountains right off from the hotel door. We will definitely come again and enjoy the peaceful and relaxing setting and dedicated service!
Mario and Beatrice are so kind, it is very rare nowadays to meet people like this. Everything was perfect, the place, the garden, the breakfast, it was very clean and it is a peacefull place. We went with our 2 kids who are 1 and 3 and everything was adapted for them. We had more than we need, we feel very privileged to have spent 3 nights at La Quiete. We really recommend this place. Quiet,peaceful self-catering option.
The house is great for a vacation with friends or family. There is plenty of space (3 bedrooms, 2 badrooms) and the small garden is a luxury for breakfast/dinner/drinks when you want to take it easy. The small river running next to the house creates a nice ambience. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a washing machine. The old town and the beach are very close (5-10min walk) and with help of a map available we could also explore hiking trails starting nearby. The staff was helpful, easily available and always friendly.
The location is lovely as it's in the mountains but only a 20 minute drive from a town; it's very peaceful & quiet. Leonardo's communication was excellent & he was very accommodating & helpful. The apartment was very warm which was nice after some heavy downpours. It is spacious with a very large terrace with views of the Lake. There are two or three restaurants close by which is ideal.
Big flat, kitchen very well equipped, peaceful, quiet, nice view on garden, easy parking. Nice paintings from the host as decoration. Host recommended a restaurant that was good and welcoming. Perfect ! Will happily come back.

Great location, roomy and airy studio with everything you need and a fabulous terrace overlooking the square. Minutes from ferry dock , next door to bars and restaurants, supermarket around corner. However once inside there is a quiet and peaceful vibe. The apartment felt relaxed and homey. Good lighting. Books and maps on shelves Roberta and assistant Jessica both very helpful and responsive. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy Stresa's charms
Very nice property and friendly people! Comfortable small apartment, with everything you need. Tasteful and elegant furniture. Very quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay over on the way to our final destination.
In general, very nice place to stay near Stresa, especially if you are into hiking/trekking or plan bicycle vacation. Stuning view of the lake, quiet location, very welcoming and helpful staff (some good dinner recommendations from the owner). Breakfast was great, local products, cakes, savoury as well, coffee etc., also with a view from terrace. Room was clean and nice, with a large balcony. The hotel is one of the first historically in this area.
