Surrounding area is very calm and beautiful (btw there is a very good fish restaurant in the nearby sea village). The house is more like a castle or a palace with rich, aristocratic interior full of history. Moreover, and it's a little bit of a spoiler, there is a water spring inside! The room we stayed in was also quite unique. This accomodation is very thoughtful, relaxing and inspiring.

On arrival guests are given a 10 minute introduction to the Country House, the area of Killarney and County Kerry. Gleann Fia Country House is just a 10 minute drive from the shores of Lough Leane, Muckross House and the National Park. Lovely Place, totally reconmended! We stayed a few nights at Gleann Fia. The house was beautyful, the garden was like a Fairy tail with a small River right in front. We were impressed by the beauty and the size of or room. All the forniture was sophysticated. Breakfast was Amazing, everything was homemade. The staff was all lovely, helpful and warm. Especially Connor was very sweet, he explained to us the itineraries and gave us tips for Great locations and restaurants. We will definitely go back, there Is so much to see around there!

Also, Sheelagh was very welcoming and when we asked to stay a bit longer in her house than check out time, she agreed and even offered extra coffee. Very nice stay, highly recommended!

The bathrooms were modern and very stylish in appearance. We would recommend Noan Country House to anyone wishing a truly Irish experience.
