Johanna is a wonderful host and knows everything about the Island, extremely helpful. The bungalows was so cute, her decorations unique and homey.
Mangsit, Senggigi
Located just 1.8 km from Kerandangan Beach, The Country House provides accommodation in Senggigi with access to a garden, a tennis court, as well as a 24-hour front desk. There is a private entrance at the holiday park for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the picnic area or the year-round outdoor pool, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Best accommodation we visited during our holidays in Lombok and Bali. We planned to stay for 3 days, but since we liked it so much it turned out to be one week. We were not only welcomed very warm but also felt like we were part of the little family of the country house. Usually in the morning you could play tennis with the staff and sometimes guests use the court to play pickle ball (which is nice if you are not really good at playing tennis). Apart from that there are frequent hiking tours with the “hash house harriers” on Mondays and Fridays which we could join. For all other activities Janto (who managed the accommodation during our stay) was happy to help and even escorted us to some beautiful waterfalls which was 1 1/5 hours drive by scooter. He also introduced us to the plants and “wildlife” of the country house, explained us many things about Indonesian culture and was very helpful in general. The rooms are super clean and have multiple windows which gives them a lot of natural light. Being surrounded by the jungle gave us the perfect escape from all the noise and busy streets. The pool is very clean and refreshing. Thank you to all of you (Janto, Supar, Dani, Neo and all the others..) for providing us such a beautiful stay. We won’t forget & try to come along again!! :) Terima kasih banyak!

Beautiful view of rinjani from the bungalow. It was clean and with a nice porch. However there was many many bugs inside the room at night (small flies/mosquitos/moths). Bathroom and room well-equipped with coffee / tea maker, soap, etc.
Great help from the on-site caretaker (his name is Muslim), he made a fire for us each night and helped us with food.

The place is very quiet and peaceful, the rooms are basic but worth what we pay, and the views from the room are beautiful. The staff are friendly and very helpful. My friend got sick during our stay and Yusuf was extremely helpful to make sure she had everything she needed to recover.
Excellent service from all staff. Quiet, peaceful room (building work did not affect our stay in the slightest). Delicious breakfast choice. Cookie turndown - lovely treat. After previously staying on Gili T around the other side of the island. We prefer the calm location, 2 pools and beautiful views of Pearl Sunset!
Lina and Heri were great hosts, loved the peaceful location, beds were clean and very comfortable, there were also some cute friendly kittens during our stay. WiFi access limited to number of users, but not an issue as restaurants nearby had good WiFi if we weren't always able to get on Meno Cottages. Very good budget bungalow accommodation if you're looking for a quiet, calm place to stay with nice people to look after you.

Beautiful room, luxurious shower with great hot water. Peaceful surroundings. Great for a quiet stay away from the big activities, but not too far. Nani was great with check-in and got me a bike to rent. She also arranged for a taxi back to the port. The beach is not far away for good snorkeling.
The resort is a sprawling beachfront estate. It has an old world charm and luxury about it. High ceilings, natural wood and stone everywhere. Beautiful from the outside. Quiet and peaceful environment. Front desk and restaurant staff are professional, friendly and confident in their work.
The luxurious pool, how peaceful and chill the area was. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast was also yummy. It felt like a nice intimate, quiet space to relax. It was lovely experiencing a less busy part of Indonesia and be within walking distance to the beach and local shops.
The hotel was good and welcoming. The cottage rooms are beautiful and spacious, with good design that provides privacy and luxury. Pool location ( with beautiful beach view) , pool amenities, pool staff, bar menu - all are good. The staff helped by accommodating for my dietary needs. It's a new property, so it feels very fresh. The location is away from the party side of the island, which gives it an edge over the other hotels ( we liked having the luxurious quiet during the daytime, listening to the waves and light music).
