Since a lot of swimming places in croatia have stones and you need to have special shoes this lake was amazing because it is not stony and really comfortable to take a swim. It is very peaceful and good place for relaxing and meditation. Rooms are very clean and freshly done. The owner of the house offers a lot of different activities free of charge. This place is really amazing who wants to have peaceful vocation with a nice view and comafortable stay. The only disadvantage is that village by itself is located quite far from civilization and there are not so many places to visit around. To the closest market and village city is about 12 km but it takes to drive about 20 minutes.

The patio in front of the house is great, lots of loungers and a place to soak up the sun. It is a pity that the pool is not heated, because its location does not allow it to heat up. As we don't like the hustle and bustle, the house in the village of Gata, which is not far from the beaches of Omis by car, was perfect for us. Most importantly, it is an animal-friendly place! Maja host was very welcoming and helpful. We could definitely come there again.
