The ability to cook a meal and relax on the sofa after work. It was quiet and peaceful and the bed was comfortable. Shower was good and the process of access into the flat from the start was easy to follow. Landlord was very good and always responded to queries.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 'dog friendly' room and there were treats and a bed for the dog. The hotel was so quiet with no traffic noise. We had an excellent breakfast. Overall it was a really nice, peaceful place to stay and we are planning to return.
The cottage had everything you need for a relaxing break or a longer holiday. In a nice quiet location but close to town and easy access to the lovely countryside. The owners were helpful and friendly and very quick to answer our queries.
Initially allocated rm26, this was above the kitchen & bar toilet and very noisy, staff were great and moved me to rm 28, a bungalow room away from the main hotel. Very peaceful and quiet, superb 👌
Lovely hotel room a little bit dated but immaculately clean with very comfy bed and good quality bedding, this is a really quiet hotel with no external noise/doors slamming to keep you awake. Breakfast excellent with plenty of choice and friendly staff. Hotel is in a fantastic location just a ten min walk to the city centre down a peaceful unspoilt traffic free walkway (new walk). Will definately use again if returning to Leicester in the future.

The location couldn't have been better; we were located right next to the cathedral where Richard III is buried as well as the Visitor Centre that is dedicated to him. It was a quiet, peaceful area but there was so much to do in that space. The staff at the hotel, cathedral, and visitor centre were so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I appreciated that the hotel also had a little guest book with restaurant recommendations; I decided to go with one of their recs for dinner, and it did not disappoint.
Lovely little hideaway. Shared hallway with tenant upstairs which was no problem. Clean,quirky, lovely little flat. Shared patio,was nice and so quiet and peaceful out the back! Easy walk to newspaper shop,off licences and eateries. The Dubai shawarma is right on the corner.... delicious!
