Charmian was wonderful, very friendly, and welcoming. After a long journey, this was the perfect place to wind down with tea and cake. A beautiful house with stunning scenery.

What an incredible place with exceptionally kind management who support my Japanese colleague well beyond accommodating him at this exceptional hotel. Advice, recommendations and support to help him enjoy his stay was very much appreciated. We will definitely be revisiting and highly recommend this hotel. Tir y Coed Country House is a haven of peace and tranquillity, nestled in over an acre of mature landscaped gardens.

On the edge of Rowen, one of the Conwy Valley's most delightful villages, the Tir y Coed is within the boundaries of the Snowdonia National Park. The far-reaching views from Rowen extend to the magnificent mountains beyond. The medieval walled town of Conwy is just 4 miles away, as is the coast. This was a great location for our two nights in Conwy. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom had high-end conveniences that we weren't expecting. The gardens were absolutely beautiful; we wish we'd planned for some time to sit on the veranda and enjoy the birds and flowers. We had a flat tire on our rental car while we were in Anglesey an hour away. Sandra was so helpful in advising us while we rearranged our plans so we could pick up another rental. She even called a taxi for us to get to the train station. The breakfasts were delicious, perfectly cooked with generous portions -- a great way to start a full day of adventures.

You can play table tennis and darts at the holiday home. If you would like to discover the area, snorkelling, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and Georgian Country House -Panoramic Views -Sleeps 12 can arrange a bicycle rental service. Beautiful house, amazing views. There is plenty of space for a large family holiday. We all had a fantastic time, and we ranged in age from 20 to 83. Nothing was too much trouble. Anything we needed was sorted straight away, perfect hosts. Every detail has been thought of. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. We would definitely book again.

Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. If you would like to discover the area, skiing, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and the country house can arrange a ski equipment rental service. I loved the peace and quiet of the place. The shower was excellent and the whole bathroom was impeccably cleaned, as was the rest of the space.

Ty Derw Country House B&B is set within Vale of Clywd, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty sitting below Moel Famau Mountain, 10 minutes’ drive from Ruthin. It is set in 2 acres of beautiful walled gardens. My husband and I have traveled using Booking.com for over 10 years. This is the most extraordinary B&B we have stayed at yet! John and his wife converted their historic smithy/ stable into a well appointed, custom designed, cozy, comfortable B&B suite. Attention to detail extends beyond the craftsmanship of the kitchen and en suite bathroom to the lovely meats and cheeses which we found in the refrigerator. The inclusion of Welch cakes with jam and clotted cream was a special bonus. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. John told us about the 2 week window of Virginia Creeper red foliage and even drew us a detailed map using a scenic route to see one of the best examples less than an hour away! Location to walking trails as well as the historic towns of Ruthin, Chester and Llangollen was ideal. This B&B well deserves a 7 star rating or higher!!!

Located just 3 miles from Conwy, Glyn Isa Country House B&B and self catering Lodge is set in family home, dating from the 17th century, within 10 acres of private land and gardens. The village of Rowen is just 1 mile away and the property offers free parking. A perfect very stylish self-catering little cottage. Well equipped within very private grounds in the middle of the country side. Excellent location for daytrips and walks in North Wales. In the small village of Rowen 1 mile away there is also a very nice Pub. Highly recommended.

The property has mountain and lake views, and is 45 km from Chester Zoo. When staying at the luxury tent, guests can use private entrance. An absolute wonderful experience, so relaxing, perfect for family time . The yurt was amazing, so comfortable, so cosy . All facilities were perfect . A definite to do again.

The staff were particularly helpful And friendly. The grounds were Wonderful and we enjoyed strolling around after dinner. The ruins of the castle forming part of the hotel were amazing the it was lovely to read about the castles 800 Year history on the walls leading to the dining room. A great hotel, worth the visit!
