Tir y Coed Country House is a haven of peace and tranquillity, nestled in over an acre of mature landscaped gardens.

On the edge of Rowen, one of the Conwy Valley's most delightful villages, the Tir y Coed is within the boundaries of the Snowdonia National Park. The far-reaching views from Rowen extend to the magnificent mountains beyond. The medieval walled town of Conwy is just 4 miles away, as is the coast. This was a great location for our two nights in Conwy. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom had high-end conveniences that we weren't expecting. The gardens were absolutely beautiful; we wish we'd planned for some time to sit on the veranda and enjoy the birds and flowers. We had a flat tire on our rental car while we were in Anglesey an hour away. Sandra was so helpful in advising us while we rearranged our plans so we could pick up another rental. She even called a taxi for us to get to the train station. The breakfasts were delicious, perfectly cooked with generous portions -- a great way to start a full day of adventures.

You can play table tennis and darts at the holiday home. If you would like to discover the area, snorkelling, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and Georgian Country House -Panoramic Views -Sleeps 12 can arrange a bicycle rental service. Beautiful house, amazing views. There is plenty of space for a large family holiday. We all had a fantastic time, and we ranged in age from 20 to 83. Nothing was too much trouble. Anything we needed was sorted straight away, perfect hosts. Every detail has been thought of. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. We would definitely book again.

If you would like to discover the area, skiing, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and the country house can arrange a ski equipment rental service. The stay was great, lovely personal touches waiting for us on arrival. Great location and near by amenities.

Ty Derw Country House B&B is set within Vale of Clywd, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty sitting below Moel Famau Mountain, 10 minutes’ drive from Ruthin. It is set in 2 acres of beautiful walled gardens. Found by chance, Ty Derw Country House at Ruthin is a real secret tip. Lovely arranged flat, everything has it's place and is well thought out. Beautiful landscape, very quite surrounding. John and Michelle have been very attentive. Thank you very much, we fully enjoyed our stay and will gladly recommend to others.

Located just 3 miles from Conwy, Glyn Isa Country House B&B and self catering Lodge is set in family home, dating from the 17th century, within 10 acres of private land and gardens. The village of Rowen is just 1 mile away and the property offers free parking. A perfect very stylish self-catering little cottage. Well equipped within very private grounds in the middle of the country side. Excellent location for daytrips and walks in North Wales. In the small village of Rowen 1 mile away there is also a very nice Pub. Highly recommended.

Penbedw Estate -Rural retreats, tennis offers beauty services and free private parking, and is within 20 km of Bodelwyddan Castle and 43 km of Chester Racecourse. The property has mountain and lake views, and is 45 km from Chester Zoo. When staying at the luxury tent, guests can use private entrance. My family and I had a wonderful time as it was an adventure from start to finish. We are from the US and decided to stay here for five nights. The Mongolian yurt provided a nice mix of the type of minimalist camping that I enjoy and a more glamping type experience for my kids and wife enjoy. The weather was very wet with high winds, but Sally did a really good job of making sure we were alright and we never wanted for dry firewood. I would without a doubt come back for spring when the weather is warmer. There are countless areas to explore and miles and miles of hiking. Wildlife is very abundant. We saw foxes, rabbits, pheasants, and countless songbirds within our compound. On clear, sunny days you can see the ocean in the distance and green pastures that seem to go on forever. On clear evenings, my children and I enjoyed identifying constellations whilst sitting by the fire. The location is great to, allowing for daytrips to Snowdonia, Conwy, and countless castles.
