Lovely location, nice and peaceful and only a short drive to the quieter side of the lake. The kitchen is basic but that is part of the charm.
The apartment was very tastefully done. The location is 10 to 15 mins off Annecy but quiet, peaceful surroundings. Loved the hosts, they were very warm and welcoming. The only issue was on site parking. We got it eventually, but it was a bit of a fight.

My stay at Hotel du Chateau was lovely. The room was a bit small, but very confortable, especially the bed. The hotel was quiet and I had wonderful nights of very much needed sleep. The hosts were friendly, and the location is very central, 2 or 3 minutes walking to the Old City.
Hotel du Chateau is in a lovely quiet location just up the hill overlooking the historic medieval town of Annecy yet only 5 mins walk from main sites and a good selection of restaurants and cafés with Lake Annecy beyond. We had a comfortable room with a huge window overlooking the old town. Valérie is a lovely host: she was very helpful in recommending excellent and good value places to eat out and provided great breakfasts including her own freshly baked croissants.
Fabulous location- just two minutes from the hustle and bustle of Old Annecy yet a quiet and peaceful location close to parking.
Beautiful family run guest house in the heart of idyllic Tuscany. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The room was large and luxurious and the house was peaceful and elegant. we arrived late but reception managed to find us a table at their restaurant, Casa Masi, which is very popular with the locals. Delicious food! Overall a fantastic stay, we’ll definitely be back! Oh and the resident hound Olga is a sweetheart.
Despite being in the middle of the city, it was quiet, calm and peaceful - just what we needed after a cramped overnight ferry trip followed by an 11 hour drive! Reception staff was so helpful and a pleasure to deal with, we slept like logs and enjoyed a peaceful tasty breakfast before resuming our journey
