Cute, traditional log cabin with modern facilities. Perfect location if looking for peace and quiet, hiking and mtb trails passing right behind the house. My second time here and will definitely book again whenever I need accommodation in Kajaani area.

The cottage was a good place to stay when hiking in Koli. The path to the shore of the lake was found behind the trees in the backyard. The cottage was spacious and clean, well-equipped and in a quiet location. Good outdoor terrace. The yard was mostly in a natural state, but that didn't bother us.
Excellent breakfast. Location in the countryside, nice garden, lots to see, nice little balcony with field scene. Quiet place, nice paths to the arboretum.

The place is very charming in middle of peaceful countryside. We used the sauna by the lake every day and used a boat once to go rowing on the lake. There is a BBQ-shelter to use as well. One day we did a local hiking path. The cottage itself is rustic with all necessary facilities for a short stay, air condition included. The venue's website has very good information about local activities and maps.
Perfect base for Koli national park, and there's even a short hiking path right next to the area. Quiet and peaceful, even when fully booked. Easy-going and friendly staff.
