We loved our rooms (super quiet, clan and well equipped, with hair dryer, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, towels, etc.) and the rest of the accomodation (well furnished and with a super nice rooftop where we had refreshing beers after climbing the Great Wall). Also the position of the Hotel is great: super close to cable car entrance (both the one leasing to watchtower n. 14 and the smaller one taking to watchtower n. 11). But the best part was having the chance to spend time with the owner’s family: she is a great chef and good english speaker (she cooked for us one of the best dinner we had in China and she gave us some suggestions for our visit to the Great Wall), her husband was super nice and drove us to the Airport after our stay (while listening to chinese music that we loved) and their 10years old child was so nice and spent some time with us during our little apetizer on the rooftop 😍 They were simply lovely and super kind and helpful ❤️ Thank you so much, hope we’ll keep in touch! Beijing Badaling Great Wall Cao’s Courtyard Hostel, a property with a garden, is set in Yanqing, 18 km from Great Wall of China - Juyongguan, 43 km from Ming Tombs, as well as 1.4 km from The Great Wall Museum of China. It is located 10 km from Great Wall of China - Badaling and features luggage storage space. The country house provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Traditional Chinese shi he yuan, felt very homey and welcomed by the owner. He picked us up from the train station at night and good hospitality during our 3 night stay. Very convenient location if u want to climb the badaling great wall during day time and also night time. Bed was on the hard side, due to traditional wooden bed, but we were able to rest comfortably.

You can play darts at the country house. Guests at Flower Yard can enjoy skiing and cycling nearby, or make the most of the sun terrace. Flower Yard is a great place. The room was clean,the bed was soft and the owners Angel and Tony were very helpful. The breakfast was great(eggs,fruit,rice,dumplings, bread, jam, coffee was very nice) Great location and easy to get around. Angel helped us to booked all great wall tickets for us. Tony took up from homestay to the mutianyu Great Wall and picked us up from mutianyu Great wall when we finished our trip. I would like to express my warm thanks to Angel and Tony. Thank you Angel and Tony, we had a great time at Flower Yard. I highly recommend this place. If you want to visit the mutianyu great wall, this place is best place to stay. And if we will visit beijing and we will stay here again.
