Perfect location. In a quiet road, just a block away from the beach and the main road where everything happens. Walking distance from restaurants, bars and grocery store. Room clean, cozy and peaceful. Cleaning lady cleans it daily. Staff very friendly. Felt welcoming. I would definitely be back.
The pool, it was lovely, really peaceful and very quiet despite the fact that you're right next to the airport. It was also very handy, as they offer a shuttle to the airport free of charge which is less than five minutes away. Staff really friendly.

This is a great option in Paraty. Really friendly and helpful staff - there was someone snoring loudly in my room and they were flexible enough to let me change rooms for the rest of my stay. Extremely clean, quiet (depending on other guests) and well located. The 8-bed dorm upstairs is lovely, plenty of natural light and very peaceful. I extended a few days here and would stay again.

It was quiet and peaceful, just off a popular section of the town. It has quick access to plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Lovely breakfast on the terrace. Peaceful, lush garden setting. The location was in the quiet part of the town, which we appreciated (being there during a crowded holiday weekend). The staff was friendly and kind (we communicated with Google Translate). The afternoon coffee with homemade cakes was very nice. I would recommend to stay here.
An absolute gem in Santa Teresa with views over Guanabara Bay to Niteroi (unlike Aprazivel and Tereze which have northern views). Most discreet mansion house on a hill furnished with the best of Brazilian modern (1950s-1960s) furniture. Delightful pool area, just accept the occasional road noise to remind you are in a town (but where don't you in Rio?). But very quiet at night. It's a must for those with good taste/de bon gout.
The owner is amazing- he is so knowledgeable and passionate about the island. He is very house-proud of his accommodation and it shows, the place is spotless, filled with all the amenities you’d need, and in an incredible setting (sits above a small river/waterfall) and location. It’s so reasonably priced for what you get, and the host only makes it better! It’s very peaceful and quiet compared to other locations we stayed on Ilha Grande, and you really feel like you’re staying in the jungle.
